Antenna Readers
Individual and Portal "Walk-Through" Solutions
GEA Farm Technologies offers four effective antenna solutions to collect data from individual animals, suitable for any new or existing parlor setup.
“MP-EXACT” Individual Identification
The "MP EXACT", our best and most accurate identification system, identifies individual cows at the parlor stall in two ways: MIMI – antenna mounted in the brisket area to read neck-worn responders, including the Rescounter II+. The MIMI is easily adaptable to many stall configurations.
TIMI/RIMI – floor-mounted antenna that reads the leg-worn Rescounter II+. Used in parallel stalls only.
"PPID" Individual Identification
The Per Place Ear Tag Identification System (PPID) provides the most accurate ear tag identification. A PPID antenna is mounted to every stall - a missed stall does not affect the placement of any other cows. In fact, PPID is the most accurate system on the market.
PPID reads HDX and FDX tags – allows different tags to be used on a single farm for increased flexibility.
Small antenna profile mounted close to the ear – provides a higher read percentage. Plus, the smaller antenna is less susceptible to electrical interference, compared to larger panel antennas.
PPID antenna have internal PCB – for fast scans and accurate data.
Durable epoxy-dipped antenna – protects the components from moisture for long-lasting performance.
Portal “Walk Through” or “Walk Over” Antenna
Portal “walk through” or “walk over” antenna is the industry standard, identifying each cow wearing a neck worn responder or neck/leg worn Rescounter II+ at the parlor entrance. This system is adaptable to many stall and sort gate configurations.
Ear Tag Panel Reader
The Ear Tag Panel Reader identifies cows wearing the GEA Farm Technologies ear tag responder and all types of full or half duplex ear tags. Readers can be mounted at the parlor entrance, the feeding area, or within the sort gate system. The Ear Tag Panel Reader is adaptable to many stall and sort gate configurations.
