Boenen, 01. September 2011 – The teat condition influences the quality of milk production crucially. Healthy teats ensure the readiness for milking and act as a barrier to harmful bacteria and other environmental influences. To make the teat disinfection as secure and simple as possible, GEA Farm Technologies has developed a new teat dip: LuxSpray 30 - a protective shield for the teat skin.
LuxSpray 30 is an iodine-based, teat dip for herds of all sizes. Thanks to an iodine concentration of 3,000 ppm mastitis pathogens, such as Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli and Streptococcus uberis are certainly eliminated (disinfection proof EN 1656). Simultaneously, lanolin and glycerol maintain the teat skin. The result is a smooth, protected and sustained healthy skin with natural defenses against pathogens. LuxSpray 30 is particularly suitable for use after milking. The specific viscosity provides for flexible usage: spraying and dipping, either automatically or manually.
LuxSpray 30 extends the range of GEA Farm Technologies´ teat dips to an iodine-based product with flexible usage. It is suitable for dairy livestock farmers with herds of ten to over 1,000 animals (cows, sheep and goats). LuxSpray 30 is offered ready to use within 10, 20, 200 and 1,000 kg containers, with no residue in the application and the active ingredients are listed according to the European biocides Directive.
