New leadership:

Dr. Ulrich Hüllmann becomes Segment President of GEA Farm Technologies

Boenen, 01. February 2012 – As of 1 February Dr. Ulrich Hüllmann has been appointed Segment President of GEA Farm Technologies. In this role, he replaces Dirk Hejnal as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Dirk Hejnal changes his position within the GEA Group and takes over as Segment President of GEA Convenience Food Technologies. Dr. Ulrich Hüllmann has been Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of GEA Farm Technologies since 2008. Hence, his appointment is part of a commitment to ensure continuity in the business strategy.

Dr. Ulrich Hüllmann joined GEA Group 10 years ago. Together with Dirk Hejnal he has driven the business strategy of GEA Farm Technologies forward for the past four years. During this time he has been instrumental in a number of key acquisitions. „I like to thank Dirk Hejnal for our joint time and efforts in the past years and wish him all the best and much success in his new role. It has been a valuable experience to have worked together with him and to shape the future of GEA Farm Technologies.”

For the future, Dr. Ulrich Hüllmann and his team will concentrate efforts to bring forward system solutions, which enable dairy producers to realize a noticeably higher value creation and higher efficiency levels in milk production and livestock farming. „On this basis, we will develop next generation technologies which will shape the farm of the future“, Dr. Hüllmann resumes.
