Dry-Off®

• Dry-Off is Durable - In field tests conducted on dairy farms varying in size and location around the country, Dry-Off demonstrated its ability to dry quickly, remain visible and to stay on teats for five to nine days on the average. We tested both our product and the competition’s under identical field conditions, and found that their product falls off in two to three days. That’s roughly half as long as Dry-Off! 
  
  
• Dry-Off is Gentle - Dry-Off is latex based, and gentle to both the cow’s teats and the milker’s hands. Water-soluble Dry-Off can be washed from the hands with water. Or wait, and peel it off without a moment’s discomfort. Other solvent-based dip products designed for dry cows on the market can draw kicks of protest from cows. 
  
  
• Dry-Off Inhibits Microorganisms that Cause Mastitis - New udder infections early in the dry period occur at six times their rate during lactation. Susceptibility to mastitis is also high just prior to calving. Use Dry-Off after each cow’s last milking and ten days prior to calving for maximum protection against costly mastitis. Dry-Off gives your valuable cows added protection against intramammary infection because it contains p-chloro-m-xylenol, a gentle yet effective antimicrobial agent commonly used in cosmetic products.
