Boenen, 24. October 2011 – GEA Farm Technologies has expanded its range of noniodine teat dip to the new BiSeptDip: The new formulation with the active ingredient chlorine dioxide reaches a broader efficiency in the control of microorganisms such as bacteria, spores, yeasts and viruses.
BiSeptDip is an easy-to-use 2-component teat dip that utilizes its full effectiveness after the mixture of base and activator at a 1:1 ratio. The effectiveness of BiSeptDip was proven by extensive practical trials in the U.S. and in accordance with National Mastitis Council protocol as well as the European disinfectant detection test under the EN Test 1656.
In addition to its proven disinfection performance, BiSeptDip provides a valuable contribution to the udder health: A special formulation containing glycerol protects the teat skin and helps skin renewal. A soft and healthy teat skin resists better to pathogens, is easier to clean and provides for easier milking and thus, a better milking routine. Dirt and bedding material will not attach due to the fast-drying BiSeptDip. Therefore, udder hygiene is easy and saves time.
With BiSeptDip GEA Farm Technologies had developed a teat dip that reduces bacteria significantly. It is safe and easy to use and maintains and protects the udder. There is no residue in the application and the active ingredients are listed according to the European Biocidal Products Directive. It is suitable for livestock farmers with dairy herds of ten to more than 1,000 animals (cows, sheep and goats), who put special attention on a strong and rapid disinfection.
