Slope screen separator with cover pictured left
By removing the main solid component the slope screen separator offers the possibility of improving the quality of liquid for recycling or reuse.
The stainless steel slope screen separator is built with variable openings to enable separation of fibres in a single pass. The unique arched design optimises the separation effect. Improves the quality of liquids in lagoons.
400-800 litre/min capacity.
Prevents blocking in transfer lines and irrigation systems.
Particles in liquid reduced to 1500 microns or less.
Can be installed as stand alone if high dry matter solids are not required.
Can be installed as a two stage separator with a roller press for high dry matter solids.
Working Principle of the slope screen | |
 | The slope screen separator is normally installed on a platform raised above a concrete dry pad. The flush liquid enters the separator through a centre mid-level intake that breaks the flush liquid velocity into an even and smooth flow across the top screen panel.
The flush liquid then gravity flows over the horizontal screen openings that are progressively enlarged from top to bottom in order to maintain more fibres above the screen while the liquid flows over it.
The screened liquid is rejected through the 6 inch gravity discharge while fibres slide off to be stacked on the concrete dry pad underneath.
